INFORMATION
My name is Annie Nguyen and I make things happen. I'm a half-Vietnamese/half-Chinese geeky girl from Honolulu and am now residing in Los Angeles. I've been into art for as long as I can remember. I started getting into design around the age of 13, tinkering on Geocities, developing and coding personal web sites. This hobby later blossomed into a career path that has led me to graduate with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Graphic Design at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. Apart from design, I'm very interested in and am working on learning motion graphics, animation and 3D/environmental design. I'm also very open to collaborative work.

For a year and a half, I was involved with KTUH Honolulu, non-profit radio, where I learned a bit of sound production. I also designed their current logo shirts and banner. Although I am no longer an active DJ, I still jump at chances to sub shows and help when I can. My love of music prompted me to join my friends in creating Space&Sound, a music and art collective in Honolulu. I am the creative director for Space&Sound.

Downtime is something I rarely have but greatly enjoy. I usually spend it reading, playing guitar or keyboard, finding new music, biking, traveling, and getting into mischief.

I am currently available for any freelance work, locally or overseas. Please eMail me for my resume.
